Best metal frame 9mm

An old-school Hi Power *with* a threaded barrel will cost some serious coin, assuming you can even find one. Same goes for the new High Power. Same goes for the variants.

A CZ 75 variant makes a lot of sense. Some models of the P-01 used to come with threaded barrels as standard (as recently as late last year), but it looks like none of the current range does, but there might be some NOS out there. While the P-01 is technically a compact, you're losing just 2 rounds in the mag and a tad over 1/2" in barrel length, IIRC.

Beretta has been mentioned; a solid pick. And the Sig P226/P229 models are still an option.

You probably need to figure out if you want DA/SA or SA, because nowadays, that decision will also restrict your choices.
I would like SAO but a DA/SA would be fine as long as I can get a good trigger from it.

A not 250 dollar CZ75. I carried a Rami for years, but replaced it recently because it’s value went up too high for me to be comfortable handing it over to a cop…a full size base CZ should run you 5 to 600 dollars now with the SP01s running a little more.
I hate myself for selling that pistol 15 years ago... :(

Shadow 2. However, I don't know if you can get an aftermarket threaded barrel for it. It will outshoot you all day and good aftermarket if you want to change things out.

I’m in the same predicament. Idk if I’m getting that new M&P or 2 Beretta’s? I really like the poly M&P 2.0 that I only bought because it used the same mags as the FPC but ended up being a shooter. On the other hand , I know how good the Beretta 92 shoots. There’s a gun for everyone.
I've never owned a Beretta or Browning pistol before. The m9a4 looks very intriguing.
