I have a remington 887 nitro mag tactical.. i am looking to get a red dot/holograph/reflex type sight and im not up to snuff on these types of sights. What is a good one for the money; that will stand up to the beating a 3 1/2" chambered shotgun can dish out aswel as not break my wallet. I dont want to spend more than $100 on it and i perfer the reflex style sights instead of a scope type sight. but if there is a better option then this id love to hear it. I just want to use the pictinny rail on the top for somthing more than a back scratcher... thank u all for ur input and for taking time out of ur day to help me out!

Forget the optics ,run ghost sight instead

For shotgun distances, this is probably the best answer. If you just absolutely must spend money on some sort of electronic doodad for your shotgun, the Burris probably has some kind of warranty, so it might be worth taking the gamble. Realistically, though, if you want an optic that will handle 12ga recoil and still work/hold zero, your best bets are the Trijicon RMR, Leupold Deltapoint, and Aimpoint micro.
