Used bow is way to go IMO…. There are deals out there on 4-5 year old bows.

Im going crazy and really want to get back into bow hunting. But im not wanting to drop a small fortune to get it just starting out again. I have shot the big box bass pro specials and didn't even feel comfortable hunting with it. Looking at the bear species ev or something like that i have a little cash saved up to help me out. I been out of the bow game so long the standard features today were flagship bows highlights. Any thing to look into or just avoid from your experience.

A used "flagship" or mid priced bow 5-6 years old years old. Instead of $800 naked, its $300 dressed. Or instead of $1500 naked its $700 dressed.

Sounds like some decent used bows out there. I’ll plug a cheap Chinese off-brand (although the Amazon ad says "Limbs Made in USA")…

I had no intention of hunting with it, just wanted to start shooting again. I found a Sanlida Archery full kit on Amazon for $199. 35-70lb adjustable, 28-31-in draw, came with a peep site, pin site, whisker biscuit, stabilizer, release, and 36 carbon fiber arrows.

The bow shoots great, is super quiet, and so far, accurate enough to hunt with, as soon as I’m confident… probably next year. Came with everything needed to hunt, other than broad heads
