Best USA made EDC knife?

Look up a thread I had on on here, a place called on site machine works in carrollton makes a sweet one. They use a cold steel knife and laser cut a notch on the top of the blade. When you pull it from your pocket, that bad boy opens and is ready for bitness. wgatactical on here is the maker/owner, great guy and very skilled. $100 bucks (I know over your $75) but very very very well worth it. look him up. Sorry I cant find the thread.

go ahead and spend a little more on a spyderco military or the paramilitary is a little smaller. they are made in colorado. if you can get over the made in USA thing, then i would highly recommend a spyderco delica or endura 4. you can get all of these on amazon at good prices.

Benchmade mini Griptilian. It fits everything you need other than assisted opening. And you can find them online for a really good price.

They have a coupon code which will get you 25% off the knife. You can also use nutnfancy for the coupon code at checkout and you will receive free shipping. I like them because you can use double discount.

For EDC knives I usually get the cheapest US made knife I can find. I abuse them to a point that even expensive knives wouldn't hold up. If I break the tip off a $20 knife, it's no big deal. My favorite has been the Buck Bantam model 285

I got mine for $20+tax at a local store. I've carried it for a year and have no complaints.

I'll put in another vote for the Kershaw Leek... been carrying the same one around for at least 10 years. Sharpens well, pretty thin, and the assisted opening is awesome. Mine is marked "Made in USA" on the blade and "USA" on the side. I don't know where they're making the parts now. I wouldn't doubt that the ones they sell at Wal-Mart are marked differently than others.

I bought a second one online about five years ago- identical model to the one I carry every day... if this one gets lost or broken, I've got my next knife waiting on the shelf.

Its not a folding knife but what about an ESEE Izula.

Made in the USA
Straight Edge
No need to open it just pull from the sheath
And the best warranty in the business. You break it they replace it no questions asked.

The Zero Tolerance 0350 is a really good knife. Extremely well built, g10 handles, assisted opening, and a pocket clip. They are a little above your budget but not too much. You can occassionally pick one up here around $100 or online anytime for $120.
The Benchmade mini-griptilian is also a good all around knife. It isn't assisted but it opens just as quick.
