Big sharp knife

What are your opinions or recommendations
My experience and knowledge with knives is cutting steak or spreading butter

A google search doesn't turn up knife that looks like this. My guess - if this were a military issue knife the production numbers would be relatively high and finding info/pics would be easier. If the blade is only indicated as 'stainless' it likely isn't a high quality blade. If a knife manufacturer uses a high quality steel they typically bother to market/brag about it in the roll marks. Checking on ebay I see there are quite a few fixed blade Pakistani knives for sale, even some that have a similar design. The prices range from $8 to around $35.
