I'm surprised they engineered it like that as well. Thought maybe the tails would be tied together like the P38.

It's all composite so maybe that's more forgiving than conventional construction?
I would guess a spar of some build is in there. I obviously do not have the build info but i would be on the first few test rides.

No thanks. The torsion that could be created by two separate tails could easily twist the center wing and fatigue it to failure.

Does have like 1% resemblance of the p-38 lightening.

That's what I was thinking. I told my wife that looks like one of those deals where "Just because they CAN build it, doesn't mean they SHOULD build it..."
 
Air launch makes so much sense just because getting all that weight to move using conventional rocket motors expends a TON of fuel just to get moving up off the launch pad.

All things considered, I thought this was a great idea...
