TVs have gotten do cheap. I remember the commercial that played during football games around 25 years ago that showed several guys moving into a very narrow apartment. One of the guys goes to get a TV. He comes back with a hang on the wall TV. I went to a high end electronics store to check it out. A 34" plasma for 39,900.

I bought a version of this thing maybe 5 years back. It was so cheap I figured if it crapped out in a year, oh well. It's still going strong. No complaints.

I have a 1981 19'' RCA old tube, mechanical tuner that still works. Bought it for @ $200. Next was a 32 or 36" tube RCA, lasted about 10yrs. Then we bought a 39" flat screen for @ $400, we've used it heavily for @ 11yrs so far.
