Here are some things I purchased for building furniture and shop projects, figured I'd share a few of the links.

I'm just getting into woodworking and did some research regarding the products, but take it for what its worth as to how good these will serve you, seemed good enough for my purposes.

I bought this exact set w/ 2-4ah batteries, only with a rigid cordless, brushless circular saw as well for $199, but seems they've dropped it from the sale. Still several Rigid combos on sale. (remember Rigid has a lifetime replacement policy if you register your tools with them and keep the box and receipt-good for batteries when they finally crap out)

Tons of Ryobi combo's on sale

Also got a corded Ryobi, sander, router, and jigsaw, but they weren't on sale, price was good though.

Still need a finish nailer, shop vac and cyclone attachment.

Do you like the Ryobi stuff? Has it gotten better?

I have no experience myself, just going by some reviews and recommendations from a guy who puts out stuff on youtube about getting started in woodworking (weekend/hobby) without having to spend a lot of money on setting up a shop. https://woodworkingformeremortals.com/

I think there are a lot of tools that use the one+ Ryobi battery, so that's a plus. I went ahead and got a Rigid combo drill & impact because they were on sale and they have lifetime battery replacement under warranty. I figure the most any battery's gonna last is about 3-4 years. I got some Ryobi corded tools though.

I think Home Depot has a 90 day no question's asked return policy, so if it doesn't work for you, you could probably take it back.

Do yourself a favor and register you Ridgid tools ASAP. I bought a combo set with a lifetime warranty a number of years ago that turned out to have well documented battery problems, but Ridgid refused to do anything about my failed batteries because I didn’t register them within the specified window after purchasing them.

Milwaukee all the way. Been converting over the last few years and I have used all other brands. Its nice that everything from my bandsaw to my multitool all take m12 or m18 batteries. 1 charger, no headache, and performance above and beyond all other brands. I even use the leaf blower and string trimmer at home which replaces my stihl trimmer and echo backpack blower
