Black Hills .223 77gr moly coated match hps

Will these shoot fine out of a Core 15 M4? I bought them back in early January not knowing if the "match" part will shoot alright out of my barrel. I don't target shoot, but they are for hog hunting and hunting in general.

With all thats going on, they were just what was there at Midway. I had to pull the trigger or my christmas present was a boat paddle.

I needed a hunting round also, not a fmj. I had been told they may not group out of a 1\9 barrel.

You said you werent a target shooter? What puts meat in the freezer? little tiny groups or 4 inch kill zone being hit ?

"Not a target shooter" meaning going to the range and burning 200 fmjs a day. U just need them to eat a hog up accurately.

Like I said, it was all that was available. Either that, or my core 15 was a boat paddle.

So, the consensus is i don't need a match barrel? They will group fine?

shoot em and see, I cant tell you how its going to do. EVERY gun is different, but shoot the sum *****es and see

Depends on the twist rate of your rifle, if you have a fast twist rate, such as 1-7 or 1-8, they will be fine, if you have a slow twist rate such as 1-10 or slower, they will not stabilize and will start tumbling real quick, more than likely at less than 100 yards.
