Black Panther Sighting

I say the OP is correct. Anomalies can and do happen. Whether it be a “panther”, “puma” or “Mountain lion” wd have no way of knowing.
If deer can be black, I don’t see why a cat can’t.

I wouldnt say its out of the realms of possibility. We all know there are lions in FL and im sure that there are a few “escaped” big cats out there that are not reported.
I believe that you saw it. I would be hooking up trail cameras and baits all over that place haha.

You are wrong.

There are absolutely big black cats.

Side note: I live off the beaten path in flowery branch. I thought I saw a bear one morning and told my neighbor about it. He said we had black deer and maybe that’s what I saw.

Sho nuff, we have a small herd of melanistic deer that appear black-ish. Ironically, they come out after all the other deer and don’t really accomplish much.

There is a small brood of squirrels in a part of Henry County (where I am originally from) that have solid white tails. I have a family member that knew a gentleman from church that did falconry back home, and always apparently had a healthy population of the white tailed squirrels that the falcon would bring back.
