Messing around at the loading bench today. Loaded up some 44 mags and 45 acp. Then boredom took over.

Started poking around in my stash. Decided to load up a few that were never offered.

Loaded some odd cases. 454 Casull, 38 special, 45 GAP, 357 SIG and a 380 acp all with Winchester Black Talon bullets.

Also loaded up a 357 SIG with one of those new RIP bullets. I figure the RIP will soon be available in 357 SIG, but I was bored so I pulled one from a 9mm case and loaded in the 357.

Like I said, just bored.

Good look. Make those 357 sig black talons in 125 gr. get them to push at 1350 fps out of a 4" barrel and sell them by the box of 50 and you make a fortune.

Could get 1317 fps with IMR 800-X and the 147 grain Black Talon.

Winchester offers the SXT I think it's called that is the same bullet, just not coated in the black lube-o-lox. I don't know if they offer it in 357 Sig or not. Might be worth looking into.

thanks good idea.. Looking into it now.

Also so that's a great load you have worked up in 357 sig. Do you shoot or carry that particular load much? Just wondering how that performs?
