Blackpowder Gear wanted

I'm looking for some good used blackpowder gear. Picked up a .58 cal Civil War-era muzzle loader and never owned one before. Tips & advice also appreciated.

Very nice. Original or defarb? Looks original. I'd get some .577" minie balls, beeswax and lard to pan lube the bullets (I just use lard at the range), GEOX FF powder, Musket Caps and a range rod with the tips you'll need and go shoot that thang!

I'm pretty excited too. Getting it from the same guy that sold me the trapdoor carbine. I need to watch some youtube videos now......lol

An old cast iron pan on the turkey fryer, one of these, some roofers or plumbers scrap lead, plus the lube, will have you chootin in the cheap.

If you buy old roofers flashing at the scrap yard, this will cost you about $2. Don't try to choot wheel weights from a muzzleloader! They are too hard. You should be able to mark the lead with your fingernail for muzzleloading. I have a hard time finding Goex or Swiss without going to Montgomery. Anybody have a source of real black powder closer to Columbus than Montgomery?
