I like any kind of blade that's put together well. On the low end I love the Buck nighthawks, the Sog Seals. What I keep on my gear is a Chris Reeve "Green Beret"


and in my go bag a Reeve "Pacific"

A quality blade in a survival situation is very important. As most of us know, gun nuts and blade nuts go hand and hand!. I am a very big fan of Ontario, Becker and SOG knives and tomahawks. However, I just picked up a shiny new KA-BAR from Don at truprep in Marietta. It's the US Army model with the stacked leather handle. I'm very pleased with this addition to the blade pile

Pocket carry I am still partial to my old MOD Duane Dieter Mrk II, not obnoxious big, but tough and solid.

I love it. I've got the blackpoint tactical guys setup to make me a nice kydex sheath for them also ... I just need to get the time to get down to their shop.

For my GHB I like the Benchmade Rant in 440C but like the Ka-Bar BK16 for hard duty.

I voted. Big fan of the Beckers, ESEE, ansd Ontario Knives. I believe Ontario used to make the ESEE knives. Solid blades. Looking into buying a Habilis.
