Thanks goes to all that have shown their blades. I once thought of making my own knives, but there is just too much to learn and to know. My hat is off to the modern bladesmiths. They really earn the price they ask for their products. I wish there was one local to me in Oakwood, Ga.

I want to sell you a damascus knife, it's just... The luxury version has so much more elk and camel crushed into it.
There are a couple knife builders local enough. I dunno the names but I bet you contact the guild and you get several names and numbers.
I have had the distict pleasure of owning the following. Favorites of the bunch would be the CRK Small Sebenza or the Krein reground Emerson CQC7B. Sadly, unemployment and doctors bill smade me sell all of them. Now I have a ESEE Izula and a Kershaw Brawler (not bad for a $20.00 knife).

Why have the CQC7 reground?
Good thread !!! Many think nothing of spending high dollar on a boom stick but shirk at money for a QUALITY blade, sad, because all in all our blades will get way more use than our guns, imho. Anyhow great thread idea.
