minimum you should be buying is RMA ceramic level IVs
RMA=starter plate
Hesco=better
I don't really trust anything else for the money except for surplus ceramic plates from other modernized militaries lol. Interestingly most other nations have much better backface deformation standards than US NIJ certification.
