I've never played with these... Seems like it's an unpadded vcas with nylon vs acetal hardware? Any experience with these slings or at least those materials?

That's pretty much what this sling is. Blue Force does special run slings like this from time-to-time, and I think this one is new - at least I don't recall ever seeing it.
