Brought a savage 10 FCP-SR and I can't get the bolt on. Seems as there is a circular piece stopping the bolt from going all the way in. Any thoughts? What am I doing wrong.

Did you read the manual? Maybe the firing pin is cocked, and needs releasing. Try to push down on the button, or hold the bolt, and rotate the handle. On some guns, you must take the safety off, and pull the trigger, holding it back, while sliding the bolt in.

It's in the manual. If you don't have it: savagearms.com , 'manuals', 'models 10', section 3: bottom bolt release; section 4: side bolt release

Pulled trigger and pushed down bolt release that's how I got it in as far as I did. Did want manual said. Button won't push. All I did was turn the piece behind the extractor per manual to line it up
