I recently bought a TOPS Street Scalpel and I absolutely love it! Extremely sharp, small enough that I carry it horizontally on my belt at the 1o'clock position, and thick enough that it would be very difficult to bend/break it. The knife appears to be a quality build, I purchased it for a work knife and have been very happy with it so far. I think it would work very well for a boot knife.
