Bottled bird scent

Saw it at Bass Pro the other day and was wondering about how useful it is. Any of you guys ever do any serious training with that stuff? If you do how do you use it?

I put it on the canvas bubmpers but I really don't think it does any good .

I too put it on my bumpers. Mainly so that when I throw it in some thick cover he uses his nose to find it. Not sure if thats the thing to do, but I do it anyways.
