Bought this Captured WWII Map on ebay and got it framed.

I thought it was of good taste. I wish whoever had it before wouldn't have folded it as much as they did, but it's cotton paper so it's very durable.

It looks very unique. Every time I see something like this, I can't help but wonder where it has been? How many hands have touched it? Did someone famous, or infamous once spread it over a table and admire the land space it depicted? I once read, about 20 years ago by the way, that anything made of paper was the next big thing in antique acquisition. We now live in a world where most people access all their needs electronically, so I think that statement is more true now than then.

Good for you, for finding that map and preserving it. With any luck, 100 years from now someone will still be proudly owing and displaying it.
