Bowling Pin Match at Norcross Gun Club

Yeah man, I could tell a difference in the weight when we were setting them back up towards the end of the night.

I'm gonna give it one more try with the 1911 and see if I can get outta 2nd place and after that I'm thinking about shooting my Model 29 .44Mag.

Yes sir, it was an awesome time. Maybe next time Randy will come too. :boink:

Im gona try. who knows..always something.

I'm afraid I may have to try the .22 route next time. My 9's are good shooters but not necessarily target guns (although the 101 year old Luger would look cool). I don't have any .45 hollow points. And I just did an inventory of my 10mm hollow-points, only enough for a couple of matches.

So, here is what I'm going to give a try next time. Will have to shoot it one-handed, and I'm hoping the .22's don't have to be hp's. Got plenty of solids but no hp .22's.

At the giveaway I had 2 boxes of 555 hp on the table. $35 ea. Should have jumped on it. It went to a good cause though.

Sweet! I got plenty of .22 HP's. I'll bring some next time we shoot so you can see if they cycle in your gun.

I'm guessing the hp's would be more competitive because of the energy transfer.

I know I said I wasn't interested in shooting this Monday but...just installed the mount and sight tonight and can't wait to see if she'll hold a zero. Let me know if you want to trade for the hp's.

If I was a man's man, I'd shoot the 686 but I just can't seem to get the reload down...

I would think the HP's would be a little better than round nose, but then I've been wrong before. I'll just throw some in a bag for ya, I've got plenty.

I want to shoot my .44Mag so bad but I gotta see if I can do better than second. I want that damn bowling pin!!! I gotta get some snap caps and practice reloading with my speed loaders. When we were at the range at lunch practicing my reload time was waaaaayyyyyy too long with the revolver.

I'm coming.

The question is: What caliber gun?
1. 1911 - 45cal - only holds 8 rounds
2. DE50 Cal ?
3. Sig229 - 16 rounds 9mm
4. HK 416- 20 rounds of 22

Whats the best option?
