Sorry I missed the match tonight. Did you have to make a mag change? The times don't look that bad. How did you do compared to the others?

Yeah man, entertaining clients was apparently more important to you. You need to get your priorities straight!

Didn't have to do a mag change with the 15 round mags. There were a couple new guys tonight who smoked it. The winner was using a Crimson Trace laser though. If I'd have known they were allowing lasers I'd have been using the laser on the 1911 the whole time. There were about 15 people there. I'd say I finished in the middle of the pack.

Yeah man, I didn't think they allowed them but I guess they do. They didn't say anything to the guy so next time, laser it is.

I got tied up today but I'll give you a call tomorrow when I get off work to get that ammo from you. I get off at around 6.

Laser one-handed or a two-hand grip?

From the rules last time I would have assumed a one-hand grip. Sounds like they got to use two.

Oh, and dinner at Rathbun's Steaks was decent.

Two handed grip. He was shooting 9mm and was just letting them rip. He had a 3.6 second round. Bob said that that was the fastest time ever. Another guy shot a 3.9 second round with iron sights too. The competition was tough tonight.

Oh and the Bowling Pin Shoot was awesome...The dinner at Checkers on the way home, not so much. But at least I got to shoot some **** up! Ha!

Last night was a lot of fun. I agree that the laser made it easier.

That was my first time doing any type of "competition" type shooting and it was a blast. I'll definitely be back for more. It'll be interesting to see how he changes things up as this progresses.

Anybody shoot a .22 last night?

No .22. Thinking about it for next time, but not sure if by the 5th round if a .22 is going to have enough weight to knock those heavy pins off.
