Boy the 2nd hand Microtech market sure has tanked, hasn't it?

That would be ridiculous. Like raising the hood on a Euro car voids the warranty........ I don't buy those new because of that reason

Benchmade is the same. I will never buy another Benchmade product after the horrible experience I had with them the last time I sent a knife back.

Agreed on the state of the economy and Chrimmuh right around the corner.

Personally I just never could buy knives that cost as much as guns. They have a bad habit of getting lost like expensive sunglasses and fountain pens.
I view a knife as a tool. Same for guns for that matter. I'm not paying a crazy price for somethin I need to use as a tool. Granted I'll pay more for a gun. I need the knife to hold a edge, not break, have a usable handle and blade. That's it. I do need more precision out of a firearm.
I've never paid more than $50 for a knife. And that was an engraved one with stag grips on it. It was on clearance. It was originally $200. Besides that, @ $35. And that was for a K-Bar and a Kershaw lock blade I used for duty each. I bet my wife has spent more on a good kitchen knife.
I just looked up that Kershaw knife...... :scared: I guess it's been a while on both of those

I have a new Benchmade Adamis that I took on a trade with a member. I listed it for under half the price of a new one and got no takers, much less a comment or even a like. I'm sending it off to my Son. I showed him a pic of it and he's thrilled I'm giving it to him. He's never such had a nice knife to carry.
Win, win right there!!
