The judge's comments are interesting. Basically the judge admits that he was cheating but since Brady didn't know EXACTLY what the penalty would be for cheating in that fashion, he should not be penalized.

The judges comments also make it very difficult for the NFL to win an appeal. There is a reason the judge was imploring the NFL to settle, now the NFL looks stupid in the eyes of the NFLPA.
