In the 80's, UGA had a radio station (90.5 IIRC) that played funk every Sunday night. Many kids from school made mix tapes from the show and cranked them up from our Kenwwood tape players and Blaupunkt amps feeding Sony 880's. Good times for sure.... THEN CAME METAL!
