Well stop beating the hell out of them..They have something for years now called,,are you ready,,,,,screw drivers, pry bars, punches, picks, and claw hammers with a nail remover..
I won't argue that. You are correct.
It just so happens that I treat all my knives that way and rarely anything but a Buck breaks the tip. I've had a few cheap Kershaws over the years that have taken a massive amount of abuse.
