Ignorance and autism are two completely different things.

Please dont insult people on the spectrum. One of my best friends has Asperger's and he's one of the coolest and most talented people I've ever met.
My intentions are not to insult anyone on the spectrum, exactly the opposite. If he is, I don't want to razz him too much. If he's just ignorant, then I feel more comfortable giving him the full press.

Trust me.. Judging by all the posts on the ODT there are a **** load of members like your buddy…

You want to learn, make time and it will pay off

I would add, that watching youtube videos is nowhere near as instructive than working with an experienced armorer and/or gunsmith on real parts that you haven't worked on before.

You've been offered some instruction like this. Take advantage of it.

Serious couple of questions because I'm genuinely curious and it will help me tailor my responses going forward.
How old are you? And do you have the autism?

Thanks in advance,
A concerned citizen
Autism or brilliant troll. Those are the only two options

Again. No work or payments yet, just advertising. I know I need an LLC and the proper paperwork before hand. Trust me, I ain't gonna put myself in a bad position

I don't have 24 hours to wait.

Also, getting it done in the same business day doesn't mean you don't need an FFL, it just means for FFL's they don't have to log in the firearm. So many people confuse that.

I assure you, In the eyes of the ATF, any work you do to someones gun is going to require a license. The only exception would be friends and hobbyist just helping each other out.

But that's not what you're doing, you're advertising an unlicensed gunsmithing business.

Not gonna hate on you because I ran a unlicensed gunsmithing business myself for awhile, but I didn't ADVERTISE it

You gotta get all your licensing squared away before you go out advertising to the public.
Really that's all the licensing is good for it being able to go online and tell everyone you're in business instead of just your friends and family.

You've put the cart in front of the horse.
If you build even one to sell, that's manufacturing and requires a Type 07 FFL.

If you do any work on a rifle for someone else for remuneration (pay or beers or swapping services), that is gunsmithing and requires a Type 01 FFL.
