I love those rounded grip Shot guns.
If you ever decide to sell, here are a couple of recent completed auctions from Gunbroker for reference:
Click on advanced search next to the search bar and then select Completed auctions to enter the description to see recent sales. This is probably the best way to see what the specific models are actually worth. Look for one or two which are around the same year, configuration and condition. The Browning case and the included chokes should be considered when determining the value.
The current version "White Lightning" and "Gran Lightning" which include Grade 3 and Grade 4 wood with enhanced engraving, extended chokes, and a nice recoil pad are bringing substantially more than the earlier version grade 1 lightning so services which provide the average price are rarely accurate.
