Browning

Probably be in the classifieds next week. I hate to be a dick about it but it seems every time I see one of these threads that is how it turns out.
No sir I've had numerous people offer me money and trades but I don't want to get rid of what my grandfather had its one of the few things I have to remember him by when he's gone

The action on a BLR feels like bank vault door - you can feel the mechanical pedigree. You should never get rid of it.
Don't plan to I love this gun I plan on having some engraving done on it like his name and the year he bought it then my name and the year he passed it to me then if my kid wants it etc erc

I love Brownings and Marlins. They are probably my two favorite hunting rifle brands, but yes, between the two I choose the BLR any day. I also like that they are magazine fed.
Me too man its hard to believe the prices on magazines for them these days though

Outstanding. A real value for that firearm is 800 plus the cost of scope. Nice firearm and your Grand dad must have really liked you to give you that.

Probably closer to $600 since new ones can be had for $800. I see a lot of used ones listed for around $800 but rarely one sell for that price.
