30 seconds to make a decision? If armed pull your weapon and put him down would be the perfect answer however the odds of him being armed are slim to none because carrying on school property is currently against the law. Lock it down, call 911 and have plan in place to get the kids out of the back and into a safe place.

The proper response is for one of the armed teachers to kill the bastard. Then explain to the children that this is just one reason the second amendment is so important.

My children (11 and 18) are aware of the appropriate response to a lethal threat. Running away without indirect/direct fire support is the last poorly planned or unplanned choice.
