Buck 120....or is it

Cleaning up a few knives for a friend and this one doesent quite pass the smell test as authentic. I sent off some pics to Buck for their thoughts, but in the mean time, what say you?

Buck is stamped and without the model or date code, and the rings on the handle are the wrong color.

Buck knife 118 Personal. Vintage hunting knife with single line tang stamp. Made between 1961-1697. Made in the USA, has the original leather sheath. Knife measures about 8" overall with a 4 1/2" blade. This knife has been used and carried and show marks sharpening marks all down the blade.

I don't think so. I got it cleaned up pretty well and she looks nice. I worked the edge last night for about 10 minutes, bucks are notoriously hard to sharpen. This belongs to a friend.
