The grass has never grown in this one rectangular spot in my back yard, then recently the rain washed enough dirt away to where I noticed concrete under the dirt. So, I dug it up to see what it was and found this.
It’s about 8’ x 4’ and I tried to see how thick it was but stopped digging about 18” deep down and didn’t reach the bottom. There are two plastic handholds/handles embedded in the concrete. My neighborhood is only around 5-6 years old and used to be a cow pasture/ farm.
What am I looking at? An old septic tank (mine is too new to be concrete)? A doomsday bunker or somebody’s vault? Any help is appreciated, thanks.
