Insurance for $100 is included in the base price of shipping and additional insurance is available when the shipping label is created.
The additional insurance was declined so it would seem UPS is liable for the first $100.

You go after the shipping company of the tesla. Amazon delivers their own stuff, so if it does not deliver, you are still going after the shipping company.

The difference is that Amazon and Tesla would handle it for you. (Pretty sure about Tesla. I don't have experience.) Amazon does not deliver themselves where I live.

Bought probably just over 100k round of different ammo from them. Literally never had a single issue. How can you blame a stolen package on them….. like everyone said they offer insurance for cheap.

You wonder how they keep their prices low, through the optional insurance. A tractor trailer full of Amazon Chinese crap could go missing and they wouldn’t even feel it. SGAMMO’s business model profits based on high volume at low prices, I’d imagine their loss due to theft is quite high. They are eating the shipping costs, which would probably pay the insurance on the shipment. UPS is the responsible party is this, not the shipper.
