If I don't buy at the dealer, I buy at Napa. Everything else has to be a name brand part. I try to buy the best parts I can get. When I fix something, I want it to stay fixed

I just bought a rebuilt Injector Drive Module from AutoZone for my diesel Excursion. They were the cheapest on the net, and not by just a bit cheaper than anyone else. For the price I paid it'll have to fry at least twice before it comes close to what the others wanted, and that's with a year warranty. I don't know if I caught them on a bad day, but I got lucky.

Late 80’s. It took 3 water pumps before I got one that didn’t leak. Now I’m all about OEM parts. Yes the are more money.

Same here. Especially with Honda. If it's a critical part that will leave me stranded, OEM or NAPA.

Windshield wipers, light bulbs, Autozone.
