It is a Polytech M14S I scored off ODT sporting a new to me USGI stock thanks to @gman
He checked it out for me and said it was in really great shape not used much at all.

I envy your shooting range. So hard to find a good place to shoot outdoors close to home anymore.I picked up a Barreled receiver earlier this month and brought her back to life. Note: ( temporarily). (Still need a ton of parts. I used all my parts from my other Garand. )
Its a 1945 SA 3.7 receiver with a 1951 VAR barrel on her. One of our other ODT brothers reamed the barrel and checked head space for me. She shot wonderfully. A bit high and to the left but I have sights that need some work. Enjoy the pics on the private range.

It came with an extra .45 caliber barrel and hammer to turn it into a muzzleloader.
