Calling all PPK junkies, info on my pistol requested

I hate collectors driving up the cost of guns that the rest of us want to own and USE.

I like to own hard to find, special, and limited run firearms, that I then take to the range regularly and shoot.

I own a Colt Single Action Army with gold appointments and ivory grips. When I got her, she was in the box unfired. I took her to the range with my .45 Colt handloads, sighted her in, and filed down the front sight to POA/POI. Shot her for years in CAS competitions, along with her mate (another Colt SAA without the fancy trim). I still shoot them both.

It’s got sights, a trigger, and a barrel. It’s made to be shot. Shoot it.

Rest assured, I'm Shootin the damn thing!

That is a desirable factory engraved German PPK/S made in 1973. Interarms was just the importer on this one. These are getting hard to find the last 10 or so years. Box end lable should have the s/n on it. Should also have a plastic cleaning rod, white manual, and test target.
It is different from a PPK that was banned for importation in 1968. PPK/S has same length slide and Barrel as PPK, but the grip frame is longer to allow importation. The engraved pistols come in a variety of finishes. Blued, Chrome, Silver, and Gold.
If you want further info, let me know.

Went to pick it up and to my surprise he had all the documentation and original display case with it as well! To say I’m HAPPY to have acquired this one is a massive understatement!

I would shoot it. I shoot and Carry and compete with a baer and pre-ban ivory grips. Guns are made to be used.

That one needs an unreasonably expensive shoulder holster, too.

WOW, that is a pistol of a lifetime. At least for us pors. 100% coverage, imported but made in Germany and a 22. I doubt I could afford it but if you ever want to sell, let me know. Of course then I'd be struggling to shoot it or not myself. I've only had I think 2 I didn't shoot. I just didn't get around to it before someone had to have them worse than I did. They were both Colt SAA, in the box, still in the cosmoline and you could still see where they had been fired once from the factory.
