Camping Suggestions

If you want to head towards Chattanooga, Prentice Cooper is a great place to camp at. 1)It is free; 2)They have off-roading trails you can drive or ride on; 3)They have a gun range; and 4)It is right outside Chattanooga. I took my boy scout troop there last fall and we had a blast. You can also check out Ruby Falls while you are there which is pretty cool.

You can camp on WMAs free, unless the regs for that particular WMA say otherwise.Get regs online,Walmart, etc.SOME of the campgrounds on WMAs are national forest campgrounds where you pay.A good campground is off Persimmon Rd in Rabun county(There are two national forest campgrounds there, with the trout stream running through it.)You pay a small fee.Wait til right before dark, get some worms or crickets, and catch some trout.Good one on highway 60 alongside the Talulah river, also. Some big trout there.Blu Ridge WMA,fish Rock Creek.
