Looks like a great time! I'll have to take the twins down when it warms up a bit. I think there's a WMA shooting range near by.

Awesome little over night hiking trip with plenty of tree cover for shade, it was a blast. Looking to get over to Pine Mountain trail in January maybe.

The range is at Hannahatchee WMA. I used to go there a good bit when gas was reasonable.

Were the camping sites out in the back country parts of the park? The wife and I hiked the canyon and did not see provisions for camping. On a side note it was July when we went and it was pretty damn hot but worth the sweat spent to see the park. It did look like fun! Thanks for posting

Yep they had 5 sites I know for sure. They are about a 3 mile hike to the backside end of the park. Nice and quiet with nice fire rings.
