Somebody back when in my family was running a still on the farm by the pond. Nobody seems to know who. My cousins & I found it in the 70's.Swap moonshine recipes?
Come to think of it, my Grandfather grew his own chewing tobacco. I heard it put hair on your chestyep, smoked Pall Malls, or rolled his own with Velvet or Prince Albert and a big shot of Jim Beam every night on his way to bed.
I was born and raised in Franklin County, VA. The Moonshine Capital of the World. Lots of good stories.Somebody back when in my family was running a still on the farm by the pond. Nobody seems to know who. My cousins & I found it in the 70's.

Ima tellThey have it on the restaurant tables for the tourons.
WAY back around 90/91 there was a convenient store on Hwy 247/ Hawkinsville Rd right over the Houston Co line. Me and some degenerate friends figured out that on Sunday nights they would sell beer for two hours between midnight and 2:00 AM because legally it wasn't Sunday anymore and it wasn't 2:00 cutoff time yet. I don't know how many trips we made out there in my 71 Super Beetle or my 81 Fairmont but it was a lot.I remember we would drive from Tybee to a 7/11 in Savannah to buy quarts of beer for 59 cents.
That's not bad hot sauce. That's what my stepfather used to buy most of the time and put on pork rinds.Yo' homies already done that...
