Canned Chili Connoisseurs?

I make a pretty good chili and I can do a smoked brisket chili that'll knock your Walmart wool socks off. But, sometimes I don't have time or get lazy and decide to try canned chili.

What is your favorite canned chili if you have one? I saw this at Aldi's and thought I'd give it a try since it was less than $2.50 per can. Prices on anything canned with meat in it have gone through the stratosphere since the e-stim check inflation set in. $4.29 for a can of Libby's Corned Beef Hash? **** that. It better have HASHISH in it!

Also, saw these counterfeit "Chicken in a Biscuit" and thought I'd try them too. Not bad on either product, not bad at all.

I like the Castleberry Chili Dog sauce for canned chili.

I also see Bologna as filet mignon

wife shops at aldi. Haven't had the chili. We usually make up a big pot of insta-pot chili and freeze it in mason jars. I like beans; she don't.

you buy those 4-5# briskets or the big un from kroger? i need to learn to cook them.

Just good ol' Hormel... one can with beans, one without.. pour 'em over a can of tamales, nuke for a couple minutes. Add chopped onion and shredded cheddar, and... done.

WTH is wrong with you man? Canned chili?!?!?

That's like asking, "What is your favorite way to get kicked in the nuts?" Or ""What was your favorite case of diarrhea?"
If you can't take the couple of minutes it takes to cook a simple chili that will be exponentially better than canned slop, call it a fasting day. I would say call it a purge day but I guess that would be the same thing as eating 'canned chili'.

I only eat canned chili on hot dogs. I like Castleberry's best. Otherwise I make it with the Carroll Shelby's kit and doctor it up a good bit.
