Captain ... prayers needed!!

Hey ODT friends!

I’ve never asked this, but need it very badly.

My dog Captain has been with me forever.

He’s my best ****ing friend.

Unfortunately, he attacked my love last night and bit her very badly in the face.

We spent the night in the ER and had to take her to a plastic surgeon today.

Details to follow if anyone wants to know, but he’s scheduled to be euthanized tomorrow.

I’m completely devastated and can use ya’lls prayers.

I’m broken!

I’m not sure how I’m going to get through this.

I’m cooking him the biggest ribeye I’ve ever seen tonight.

Tomorrow, I’m going to have to put down my best ******** friend I’ve ever had.

I’m NOT in a good place.

Hey man I’ve been there. Had a dog bit my little girl in the face twice. Don’t jump too quickly. Give it a day or 2. Make sure your little one is good. If you can let him/her pet the dog the next day. Build back confidence. I’ll pm you my number. I’ve been there. Prayers bro.

I am sorry for both in this instance and hope your girl does well, BUT, there is no way I would put my dog down for one bite, no matter how bad it was.
I am sure there are circumstances not known to me, but no way I would put a friend down. I hope there other alternatives.

My Mrs is scared to death of big dogs or id have a large breed or bully. Unfortunately the dogs can tell when someone is afraid.
I hope your Mrs is ok. Mentally and physically. I also hope you are ok after this horrible thing.
