Carnivore Diet

Ok. I'm gonna give this a try. Started Monday at 304 lbs. Been eating steaks, pork chops, eggs and bacon so far. Don't know how long I can afford to stay on it buying meat but we'll see. Had my yearly physical for work insurance done so I got my blood numbers. My gut health is already better after just a few days. Trying to loose about 40 to 50 lbs is my goal and lower my 6.9 A1C to stay off meds.
What would the harm be in adding some vegetables from the garden in this diet as long as it wasn't corn or taters?

I was doing carnivore for about 2 years and so many issues disappeared, I lost 75lbs and have been holding a steady lean mass, joint pain is gone, inflammation gone, mood greatly improved..

I am more so on a raw food diet now with select fruits and vegetables and still feeling great. zero grains, processed sugars, vegetable oils, or anything I can't pronounce when reading the ingredients.

For budgeting on carnivore, I personally ate ground beef, ground chicken and ground turkey mixed with eggs. Treating steak as more of a luxury item.

No harm in adding veggies. Good low carb vegetables to eat are asparagus, broccoli, mushrooms, spinach, cauliflower, celery, or cucumbers.

Thats great news buddy!

I did a 48 hour fast from Sunday to Tuesday. Then started eating 1 meal a day and I am dropping about 1.5lb per day according to my home scale.
