Carnivore Diet

Started carnivore on 1/2 after I found out my BP was 133/103 and Doc prescribed meds. Figured I would rather put in the work to get it down rather than take meds. Eating beef, butter, lots of eggs and a little bacon and started drinking a bunch of water and LMNT electrolytes once a day. Taking total beets, magnesium glycinate (which has greatly improved my sleep), potassium and D3 K2. Started walking around 2 miles at lunch and finally started lifting weights again yesterday. 30 min after lifting by BP was 122/80. So far, I have lost 11lbs and my joint pain is about 90% better than it was. Maybe I won't need both knees replaced after all! That first week was a booger, which I guess was detoxing from all this crap I have been eating for so long. Mind seems to be clearer, and memory has improved. Getting old ain't for sissys!

1st week is allot of detoxing, the hard part will be eating right for 1 month, but if you prepare the food a few days in advance this will help get you to your 1st month. Good luck

That fasting for that long, how hard is it ?
It's all in the mind brother! Nothing but water and black coffee for 48 hours... I've done a 96hr fast once. Felt incredible! But it's not for the faint of heart. Every time you feel hungry drink water or black coffee.

at 12 hours your stomach is completely emptied, 24 hrs and light autophagy starts (when cells start repairing themselves), 24 hrs and your body starts to rid itself of inflammatory agents (You will have the squirts, but not in a bad way. Not constant maybe twice and its not like explosive), 36hrs full autophagy begins and more runny poo that will smell horrendous. 48 hrs 95% of bad cells have repaired themselves and your entire digestive tract is mostly healed, and your body will process nutrients much better once you start eating again.

I TRY do this twice a month.

I would recommend also using "KETO CHOW" electrolyte drops instead of LMNT. It's cheaper and No flavoring or other BS just the minerals you need.

On that electrolyte drink for fasting, it may be cheaper to make the SNAKE JUICE DEINK.. you can Google it.. it’s basically pink Salk, baking soda, no salt, and empson salt with apple cider vinegar and lemon juice.. little funky tasting at 1st but easy to get used to.. anyone else try it?
