Found a good deal on a 1911 at academy fill out paper work and give them my lic and carry lic but since the address was different since I moved the out of county lic was a no go for academy and they had to do a background check which I was delayed on. What could cause this other than shear stupidity. Let me say I have not commited any crimes.

You can be delayed due to sheer volume of requested checks.....Don't sweat it.
Yep,permit has to match your drivers license. That's what I was told before I changed it after a move. On the delay if you have a common name sometimes that happens.
It happened to me at my LGS. They have the same policy about matching carry license and ID. I was delayed last time I did one.
Yep don't care they told me they know what the law is but they have a co policy.
It happened to me at 2 gun stores so I got it fixed no problems since.
