Casey Anthony – what's your take?

Has the evidence, and the evidence only, proven Casey Anthony guilty?

I have grown to absolutely HATE Nancy Grace and her biased media coverage. I am tired of listening to her bull$hit.

All media coverage is biased. "News" is just someone's opinion on the topic, and that doesn't necessarily make it right.
More times than not reporters have their facts skewed and are ill informed. If you want real news then you have to go to the barber shop.

"beyond any and all reasonable doubt" Thats just it.
I agree with you on everything you said, Its OJ Simpson all over again.
Half the time the public dos'nt get to see all the evidence that was'nt allowed in court.
I think her ass has a special place in hell with her name on it just waiting for her.
I cant fathom anyone being able to kill a child, but thats just me.
But in this day and time they seem to die at the same rate as adults, witch turns my stomach.
It kills me every time I see that beautiful little girls picture on the news.
My hat goes off to police officers who have to see this every day, and not want to be judge and jury Like I would.
Thats why they are cops and im not.

Maybe I'm just a little harder than the average Joe, but if in my mind she is more guilty than innocent by the evidence given, I would fry her. Innocent/guilty ratio, 40/60, give them the gas.

I think that people take this reasonable doubt too far. These people are turning criminals loose because their was one little piece of evidence that the defense brought forth that was lame at best , but some liberal judge allowed it.

I had jury duty some months ago. There were a couple of Negro thugs that had beaten and robbed a Mexican, then poured gasoline on him and were intending on setting him afire.

I would only had one question for the thugs; Were you in Sunday school class when the Po Po came and picked you up?
If not then you are guilty and deserve the death sentence.

Needless to say, I spent two days at the court house and didn't get picked for any of the three cases.

Attorneys don't want anyone too outspoken or radical on the jury, they would rather have someone that is easily influenced, like sheeple.

Uh...no. It should be very hard to convict people. Better to let 100 guilty men go then to wrongly convict one innocent man.

She may have done it, but the government failed to prove it. The system works. If we start allowing the government to punish people based on flimsy evidence or just because "we just know she did it", that opens the door to tremendous abuse.

i voted no even though i believe she DID murder her daughter. there just wasn't enough evidence to find her guilty beyond a reasonable shadow of doubt. that's the way the system works. is it fool proof, NO. this is just another OJ Simpson case. can't prove it but everyone knows she did it...

It's abused now, just in favor of the criminal instead of against an innocent person.

What's more likely to happen?

You wind up the victim of a repeat offender, or get wrongly accused of doing something and serve time?

I would not have to be 100% sure that they committed the crime just more than 50% and that would depend on their previous record of law violations.

Regardless our judicial is a dog and pony show at best.

Actually, I think the prospects of either one happening are pretty small. But when we are supposed to be living in a free society, possibly allowing a guilty person to go free is one of the potential negative consequences of that.

If that's not how you feel, well, that's up to you. But just know that those views are incompatible with a truly free society.
