Actually, I think the prospects of either one happening are pretty small. But when we are supposed to be living in a free society, possibly allowing a guilty person to go free is one of the potential negative consequences of that.
If that's not how you feel, well, that's up to you. But just know that those views are incompatible with a truly free society.
Yes, I agree we are definitely living in a "FREE" society. Everything is free for those to sorry to work for it, and get out of jail free cards are played as often as Jessie Jackson plays the race card.
Why carry a concealed weapon if you think the odds are the same for being framed for a crime that you didn't commit as it is for a crime to be committed upon you? If this were the case you should have a very creditable witness with you 24/7.
This would be about the same amount of time that I carry my weapon, but don't carry a witness nor do I have an attorney. I think the odds of being framed are slim to none if your nose is clean to start with.
Of course then again go to the prison and ask around, everybody in there is innocent and was set up by the system for the fifteenth time.
