Looking for a nice rifle in 30.6 or 308 with synthetic stock and has to have a scope on it. Im saying how much he has to spend so post up your rifles!

I'm partial to .243 if just starting out. The kill zone for a deer is easy but your son needs to learn this. It keeps him thinking. A very nice round for GA deer.

This may be his first hunting rifle but not his first weapon. He currently has a AR-15 and a pistol. Not shabby for a 19 year old.
