Cashless

Unbelievable…..I can’t believe folks are getting to the point they are not recognizing cash ! Not wanting to use it !
Weird and strange. It is getting funky for damned sure ! Lol

It is all another way for them to keep control and count of you/us as a society.
They damned sure want to know exactly what you have, what you are doing with it, and where it is going next !!
Friggin’ commies !!

I keep pre-paid gas cards from 4 different companies, and a couple hundred in cash stashed in my car for travel emergencies.
I've always been a cash guy, but lately transitioning to cards that give cash back reward discounts to the balance.
Seems like a no-brainer if you pay them off monthly.
This is the way they will transition us to a digital society.

Another reason is that a lot of companies are starting to charge a CC fee to consumers for using a card, but don't want cash. Whether the card issuer gets the whole amount or not, I'm betting the company is getting a little slice. Funny how this just started in the last year. Money is tight and less is being spent, so they are squeezing the ones that still have some to spend. This is just like manufacturers charging the same for a product with less in it. Inflation that the average consumer doesn't notice, especially if they are just swiping the SNAP card.

So I was recently due to renew my yearly parking tag at the State Park I go to regularly. $50 fee. I put a hundred dollar bill on the counter and the little park ranger girl says "sorry I don't have change for that...do you have a credit card?"

I'll let you guess what my answer was. And yes, I did walk out of there with a new tag, two twenties and two fives.
