Catching Taurus HELL

Tx22 pistols - I've owned a few full size Gen 1(s) and a Tx22 compact. While I'm not a huge Taurus guy, their revolvers are good (I had an 856 that shot well for me and the GX4 for a small amount of time), the Tx22 is a hard 22 to beat especially as a suppressor host. Runs good without, but runs even better with the can on it. Only reason I sold mine is I want to upgrade to a MKIV tactical and my favorite .22 is my Ruger 10/22 takedown I run suppressed.

I just shot my PT1911 I tore down and put the werks on. Here is a 5 shot group at 15 yards. One got away from me. The trigger really feels good after I tinkered with it. It shoots smooth and accurate. Not bad for a 325 dollar used gun with a few upgrades. All the internals that changed, the grips and the mag well. I think I've got all of $450 bucks in it. You can say all you want about a Taurus 1911 but it will get the job done and do it very smoothly. It shoots exactly where you put the front dot. Spot on!

I get plastered with criticism for buying a Taurus 1911 and upgrading them into a decent pistol. So what's someone to think about buying a Taurus. I got this little Taurus tx22 to adjust the laser on it and fired into a little box full of magazines just test it out. This little gun runs 237 bucks Palmetto State Armory. This is a five shot group at 20 ft. Seems to me this little Taurus is doing just fine. Of course the only Taurus I've ever owned was the PT 1911s and I've owned four or five of those so I don't know about all the rest of them but this one certainly has no issues.

Let the plastering begin!

I've not seen many that can take a beating on here like you do!!!

I love it bro! It's all in good old fashion fun. Some really get nasty and mean but I let it roll off and keep laughing. They say whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger. Well I have been through so much in life that this is a cake walk. Death, divorce, being just penniless from divorce and more has given me dragon skin. LOL I just take it in stride my man! Thanks for the compliment, that's the way I am going to take it anyway. 😁

How bad can Taurus possibly **** up a 1911? I assume they are or were made in Brazil. How can that be any worse than 1911s built in Turkey or the Philippines? Maybe I've been a poor for so long I don't know or remember the difference. In the 90s I owned a Colt Series 80 and it had tool marks inside the slide and kind of a gritty trigger. The 1911 is what I call a public domain design at this point. As long as the metallurgy isn't inferior I couldn't give a **** less what brand name is on it. But before the gun snobs jump all over me just remember that I do NOT shoot competition or thousands of rounds a year. My 10mm 1911 is a Phillipino whore made by RIA and it impressed ME so that's all that matters.
As for the TX22 I've seen and heard nothing but good things about it. If I didn't already own a Kel Tec P17 I would be looking for one. And I still dig my G3C as well as my original model which was the PT111 Millennium.

Nope. Still not a Taurus semi auto fan.
I have my reasons, the only true malfunctioning trigger and accidental discharge I ever had was a little TCP .380.
Lucky people I love standing near me weren’t killed.

I will never buy, trade, shoot, carry, or hold another Taurus product in my hand.
Total crap that almost caused a tragedy..
