Catfish/Seafood Restaurants/Buffets

Catfish is not sea food, Catfish is actually mud fish and sea food comes from salt water. I love sea food, can't stand mud fish. Cat fish living in clear water cold lakes taste nothing like cat fish raised in muddy ponds sold around here. I like Trout, Salmon Yellow Perch and some other fresh water fish, but only if caught in clear/cold water lakes or rivers. There is a place called Henry's Cajun Restaurant in Acworth on Main Street. They have decent seafood.

I ain't stupid. Never said catfish was seafood. Perhaps if you would read the initial question, you'd realize that. I asked if anyone knew of either in the west Ga. area; Seafood/Catfish restaurant/buffets. Unlike you, I love both. Nothing like sitting down to a nice supper of good, un-muddy fried catfish filets, cooked just right, with some good slaw, french fries, fried green tomatoes, good hushpuppies, and maybe another side or two, with some fresh iced tea. Or is there anything wrong with a good meal of fried fresh flounder (salt water mud-fish?), fried, raw, or baked oysters, grouper filets or throats, amberjack, perch, snapper, shark, swordfish, etc., and the same sides, like I used to do down at Julia Mae's in Carrabelle, Fl. I just wanted to know if anyone in west Ga. knew of any places to do either for a good meal in the area. I don't know you from Adam's housecat, but from your snobby-ass reply, I don't think mine and your asses would fit in the same chairs and enjoy the same food, anyway.
I may be wrong, but you sound like a damn yankee.

Edit: Or that place with the holes in the tables down at St. Simons. The Crab Shack?

I don't know the name of the place but there is a little hole in the wall place in the Barnes and Nobles shopping center down by the airport that has killer fried fish . Of course I am usually the lightest person in there .

one place NOT to go eat their seafood buffet on Friday nights is BevRicks in Metter GA, I-16 exit 104
My 12 year old daughter and I could not even eat it. I called the waitress over and told her, something is wrong with this seafood, we can't eat it, we will just have salads. We were not charged for the buffet, thank goodness or I would have had to speak with the owner.
I have eaten at a many seafood buffet in my life all over the country, but that one was by far the worst that I have even tried to eat. It was as though they never even washed the shrimp before cooking it. It was just nasty.
We had our salads and left.
